Arts Award Certificate!
Well done to all the young people who achieved their first Arts Award – Discover. Arts Awards are a great way to recognize the learning and achievements of the young people who took part!

The theme of the project is: ‘Cut-Out’ We’ll be looking at Anne Knight Chelmsford Activist and creating film content that engages people in thinking about inequalities and what they mean in our modern society!
With thanks to Arts Council England and our crowdfunders for funding this project.
Victoria Button founder and director of Artimate has teamed up with Kelli Sellwood local activist and poet and Rehmat Rayatt International award-winning filmmaker and other local artists to develop and deliver this free programme.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Anne Knight Hidden Black History Fund as you have made this project possible!
If you would like to donate you still can to help us in our quest to make Anne Knight (activist) who fought tirelessly for equality for all races and the immediate abolishment of slavery a household name. While also engaging children in creative learning about activism and our history.
More workshops will be developed for the Summer and Autumn months.
